With Class 2 chainsaw protection and S3 safety performance, the Stein Defender Max chainsaw boots give you confidence when working with saws, climbing or moving over uneven ground.
Premium Italian Perwanger leather forms the upper and offers water-repellent performance while still allowing the boot to breathe. A 360 degree rubber rand protects the lower boot from knocks, scrapes and contact with branches or hardware. Inside, a climate-regulating waterproof membrane helps keep your feet dry and comfortable in wet, cold or mixed weather.
D3O side impact inserts help protect the lower fibula from knocks, which is especially useful when you use foot ascenders or work in tight spaces. A padded tongue and anatomical padding increase comfort on long days. Underfoot, the Vibram Teton sole uses a high profile, self-cleaning lug pattern to give strong traction and braking power on mud, roots and rock, while the undercut heel improves stability on slopes.
